Juratoys recalled more than 6,000 children’s activity tables in the United States and Canada as they pose a choking hazard.

The U.S Consumer Product Safety Commision (CPSC) website published the recall May 25. It applies to about 5,080 Janod Sweet Cocoon Activity Tables sold in the United States and about 1,030 sold in Canada.

According to the recall, the activity table contains a silver metal bell that can detach from its metal arch, posing a choking hazard to young children.

No injuries have been reported so far, Juratoys says. The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes end in class action lawsuits.

Immediately stop using children’s activity tables, Juratoys recall says

Consumers should immediately stop using the children’s activity tables and contact Juratoys for a free repair kit, the recall states.

Juratoys sold the products at Nordstrom and Crate and Barrel stores nationwide, online at amazon.com, maisonnette.com, nordstrom.com and crateandbarrel.com and at other specialty toy, gift and book stores nationwide and in catalogs from Feb. 2020 through Dec. 2022 for between $65 and $83.

The recall involves two models of Janod Sweet Cocoon Activity Tables for children ages 12 months and older.

The tabletop activities include a grooved track for vehicle play, a bell arch, a bead and wire maze, a shape sorter, a gear activity and a stacking activity. The model number J04402 or J04411 can be found on a label on the underside of the activity table.

Meanwhile, at least six other children’s products have recently been recalled in the United States. Click here for more details
