The Good and the Beautiful recalled more than 100,000 math boxes as the products pose a laceration hazard.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website published the recall May 25. It applies to about 103,200 The Good and the Beautiful Math 1 and Math 3 Boxes with metallic whiteboards sold in the United States and about 1,820 units sold in Canada.

According to the recall, the whiteboard attached to the boxes can detach, exposing sharp edges and posing a laceration hazard.

There have been four reports of the boxes detaching each resulting in minor lacerations so far, the The Good and the Beautiful recall says.

The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes end in class action lawsuits.
