Mellow Walk Quentin Safety Shoes Recall Overview:

- Why: Certain Mellow Walk Men’s Quentin Steel-toe Shoes do not meet the necessary Canadian Standards Association tests for impact performance.

Mellow Walk has recalled some of its Quentin Safety Shoes due to the risk of injury posed by the product. Consumers who own any of the recalled Mellow Walk shoes should immediately stop using them.
The Mellow Walk recall involves men’s size 9.5 and 11 steel-toe Quentin boots. Specifically, the recalled products include:
- Steel-toe Puncture Resistant Plate / ESR. Black Leather 6” boot with side zipper, model #547049. Tracking numbers: 3101, 3103, 3155, 3156.
- Steel-toe Puncture Resistant Plate / ESR. Black leather dress slip-on, model #550049. Tracking numbers: 3103, 3155, 3156, 3157, 3258, 3259, 3260.
- Steel-toe, Puncture Resistant Plate / ESR. Black leather laced oxford, model #570049. Tracking numbers: 3101, 3012, 3156, 3157, 3258, 3259, 3260.
If you own any of these Mellow Walk Quentin Safety Shoes, you should immediately stop using the product and dispose of it. The Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or given away.
Mellow Walk Quentin Safety Shoes Do Meet Compliance Requirements
Sizes 9.5 and 11 of the recalled Quentin shoes reportedly failed to meet the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) compliance test for impact performance as stated in CSA standard Z195-14. Because they do not meet the standard, they may put consumers wearing the recalled Mellow Walk shoes at risk of injury.
Mellow Walk reportedly had not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada as of Mar. 21, 2022.

Mellow Walk is not the only company that has had to recall some of its shoes because they did not meet the CSA’s standards for impact performance. On Oct. 27, 2021, Walmart issued a Workload Men’s Safety Shoes recall over issues with the shoe’s toe caps.
