Bebe au Lait Wooden Teether Recall Overview:

  • Why: The string holding the teether beads together may come undone and pose a choking hazard to young children.
  • Who: Bebe au Lait recalled 12 styles of its wooden teether product.
  • Where: The recall affects products sold in the United States and in Canada.

Bebe au Lait, known for its parenting and nursery products, issued a recall of several styles of its wooden teethers. The string that connects the beads on a teether can come untied, releasing the beads, which become a choking hazard to young children.

While no injuries have been reported yet, Bebe au Lait has received six reports of detached beads, including one report of a child placing a bead in their mouth.
