Polaris recall overview: 

  • Who: Polaris is recalling 282 of its recreational vehicles including two 2023 Ranger models, the 2024 Polaris Pro XD Full-Size Diesel Crew, 2024 Gravely ATLAS JSV-3400 and 2024 Bobcat. 
  • Why: A seat belt bracket on the passenger side was not properly welded, allowing it to separate from the frame and cause an injury hazard, the Polaris recall says.
  • Where: The Polaris recall is valid in the United States and Canada.

Polaris is recalling 282 of its recreational vehicles, including two 2023 Ranger models, the 2024 Polaris Pro XD Full-Size Diesel Crew, 2024 Gravely ATLAS JSV-3400 and 2024 Bobcat due to an issue with the welding of the passenger side seat belt bracket that can cause it to separate from the frame.

The issue can lead to an injury risk.

The Polaris recall includes the 2023 Polaris RANGER XP 1000 / XP 1000 Crew, RANGER 1000 / 1000 Crew and Model Year 2024 Polaris Pro XD Full-Size Diesel Crew, Model Year 2024 Gravely ATLAS JSV-3400 and Model Year 2024 Bobcat UV34XL Gas off road vehicles.

The Rangers were sold in blue, graphite, camouflage, brown and white while the Pro XD vehicles have gray plastic body panels with a black frame/accents, according to the recall.

The Polaris recall includes 280 recreational vehicles sold in the United States and two in Canada.

Immediately stop using recreational vehicles and have them inspected or repaired, recall says

Polaris says it has not received any reports of injury related to the recall so far. The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.

Consumers are asked to stop using the recreational vehicles immediately and contact Polaris or a registered Polaris dealer for a free inspection or repair.
