“Customers who have affected product should not consume the product and should dispose of it immediately,” the recall notice advises .

The recall notice highlights the health risks associated with Salmonella, which can cause severe infections, particularly in vulnerable populations such as young children and the elderly.

Symptoms of Salmonella infection include fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare cases, the infection can lead to more severe health issues like arterial infections and arthritis, according to the recall.

Blackstone Products states it has not received any reports of illness related to the recall so far. The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.

Last year, Blackstone Products was hit with a lawsuit accusing it of deceiving consumers by advertising fake discounts on its website.
