The group Vaccine Choice Canada filed a 190-page lawsuit challenging the Canadian government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The $11 million Vaccine Choice Canada lawsuit was initially filed on July 6 in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, but CBC News reportedly only recently obtained an unredacted copy of the complaint.

Vaccine Choice Canada, together with seven individuals, are suing the governments of Canada and Ontario, the city of Toronto, Ontario health authorities, health officials, senior politicians, and the CBC over the COVID-19 response.

The group claims that the COVID-19 regulations violate Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

According to the Vaccine Choice Canada lawsuit, the government-imposed shutdown of businesses to prevent the spread of COVID-19 was “extreme, unwarranted and unjustified.” Further, the group argues that the social distancing and self-isolation measures were “not scientific, nor medically based nor proven.”

Vaccine Choice Canada also reportedly argues that requiring individuals to wear masks in some public spaces can cause “physical and psychological harm.”

According to the Vaccine Choice Canada lawsuit, these measures violate various rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Charter, including the right of association; the right to life, liberty and security of the person; certain measures constitute unlawful search and seizure, and arbitrary detention by enforcement officers; and some COVID-19 measures violate the right to equality before and under the law.

“The measures … are further not in accordance with the tenets of fundamental justice in their overbreadth, nor are they justified under S.1 of the charter in that they are demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society,” the COVID-19 response lawsuit argues.

According to s. 1 of the Charter, Charter rights can be limited by law so long as those limits can be shown to be reasonable in a free and democratic society.

“The ‘pandemic’ is false, and the measures phony, designed and implemented for improper and ulterior purposes, at the behest of the [World Health Organization], controlled and directed by billionaire, corporate oligarchs,” the Vaccine Choice Canada lawsuit reportedly alleges.

Vaccine Choice Canada alleges that far more people have died due to the COVID-19 measures than have purportedly died of the virus, “even if one take the deaths ‘caused’ by COVID as a given.”

The COVID-19 response lawsuit includes personal accounts from some of the plaintiffs, including a Toronto real estate agent who claims the COVID-19 measures are driving down the prices of homes and condominiums in the city, a mother and daughter who were not allowed to enter a grocery store, and a former University of Ottawa professor who says the CBC did not allow him on television to discuss his views on the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Vaccine Choice Canada lawsuit also includes personal stories of others who have suffered adverse mental health effects during the COVID-19 pandemic. One woman says she cannot wear a mask because it causes her to relive a traumatic experience in which she had a mask held over her face during a sexual assault.

The lawsuit also includes allegations that are unrelated to the COVID-19 crisis, including a claim that Bill Gates is anticipating a “‘twenty-fold’ return on his $10 billion vaccine investment within the next few decades.”

The complaint also reportedly references the Chinese military, international vaccine programs, 5G networks, and the Rockefeller Foundation as related to the creation and spread of COVID-19, but reportedly does not provide supporting scientific evidence for these claims. This lack of scientific evidence could potentially lead to a dismissal of the case under Ontario’s rules of civil procedure.

The CBC is reportedly named as a defendant for allegedly propagating “false news” and misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic. Vaccine Choice Canada is also reportedly considering suing the CBC over its coverage related to anti-mask and anti-vaccination movements.

Although Vaccine Choice Canada describes itself as a watchdog organization that seeks “to empower families to make educated, voluntary, and informed decisions about vaccination,” the group has been criticized by public health authorities for spreading false or misleading information about immunization.

This Rocco Galati lawsuit COVID is not the first to challenge the COVID-19 response in Canada. In June, the Quebec government and its public health department were hit with a COVID-19 response lawsuit challenging the measures put in place to protect residents from the spread of the novel coronavirus. Numerous other lawsuits have been filed challenging other aspects of the COVID-19 impact on various industries.

All you have to do is look at Sweden and Switzerland to see and understand that what has been happening in Canada and, mostly, around the world is fear mongering. Sadly, it has worked on the majority. What is behind this virus is much more frightening than the virus itself.
I only hope that enough people wake up before we are totally lost.

With a 99% survival rate there is no need for a vaccine, especially one that has been rushed to market by known corrupt people.
