Wolf Appliance recall overview:

Wolf Appliance issued a recall for around 44,000 Wolf Dual Fuel Ranges with infrared griddles over concerns they could short circuit in the event liquids boil over or are spilled on the griddle unexpectedly, posing a burn and fire hazard.
The recall, which also includes about 1,400 units sold in Canada, involves stainless steel Wolf Dual Fuel ranges with infrared griddlesmeasuring 36 inches, 48 inches and 60 inches wide with oven door panels in black, white or stainless steel.
Wolf Appliance said it has received 36 reports of the recalled griddles turning on, but no reports of injuries in connection with the recall.
Recalled Wolf ranges sold between August 2020 and September 2024
The recalled Wolf ranges were sold at home appliance stores nationwide from August 2020 through September 2024 for between $12,500 and $23,000, according to the Wolf Appliance recall.
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled dual fuel ranges and to contact Wolf Appliances to schedule a free at-home repair.
