Numerous automotive parts manufacturers agreed to pay a combined $53.2 million to resolve claims they conspired to raise and fix the price of auto parts.
The settlement benefits Canadian consumers and entities who purchased or leased a new vehicle from certain automotive companies between July 1, 1998, and Sept. 30, 2016. A full list of automotive brands included in the settlement can be found in the “Who’s Eligible” section below.
According to several class action lawsuits filed in Ontario, British Columbia and Quebec, automotive part manufacturers violated antitrust laws by conspiring together to raise and fix the price of auto parts. As a result, consumers and companies allegedly overpaid for vehicles with overpriced alternators, oxygen sensors, radiators, spark plugs, starters and other auto parts.
The class action lawsuits were filed against numerous manufacturers such as Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric, DENSO and others.
Auto parts manufacturers haven’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to resolve several class antitrust action lawsuits with a $53.2 million settlement.
Under the terms of the auto pparts settlement, class members can receive a proportional share of the net settlement fund based on the purchase price of their vehicles, the timing of their vehicle purchase and whether they are an automaker, dealer or end user. No payment estimates are available at this time, but class members are guaranteed to receive at least $25 from the settlement.
End users claiming more than 15 additional purchases, dealers or automakers who claim a net purchase price greater than $5 million may need to provide proof of purchase, such as invoices, receipts, purchase/lease records, accounting records or other documentation. Claimants may also need to provide information about the make, model and year of their claimed vehicles.
There is no exclusion or objection deadline for the settlement.
The settlements have already been granted final approval.
To receive a settlement payment, class members must submit a valid claim form by Oct. 30, 2023.

Has anyone received settlement money?
The Fire Department and RCMP officers will exchange Uniforms and will release hardened criminals and expunge their records due to National Security which allows every group stalker the opportunity to hurt,maim, torture and even kill any Targeted Individual with no worry of being arrested, charged, prosecuted or convicted for cold blooded murder as per the National Security Act 2017 innocent citizens can be murdered in cold blood and no Government Workers pay for it. The crimes committed against me from September 21st 2016 until August 8th 2022 which was when i was placed into a Forced Microwave Radiation Induced Partial Accoma. I wish the lawyers would file a Class Action Lawsuit against The Corporation operating as Government of Canada for myself being a victim since my 13th Birthday September 21st 1990 of National Security Government Organized Gang Stalking Terrorist Watch List called Targeted Individuals. As a Targeted Individual my father was with proof died from foul play through a lethal injection administered at Chilliwack Hospital and died July 4th 2008 to cover up for 18 years for him 6 Campaigns and now almost 33 years for me and 9 Full Campaigns with hidden audio and pin hole cameras in everyday household items such as wall and alarm clocks bugged replicas are swapped out and in giving them a Live 24/7 Online Broadcast Feed Uploaded to a Hosted Tape Recorded Deep Dark Website for Free or a Paid Hourly/Daily/Weekly/Monthly/or Yearly Subscription Fee constituting Online Human Child Sex Exploitation and Trafficking while Crimes against Humanity, Violations of the Nuremberg Code, Violations of Prohibition of Convectional Microwave Weapons, Violation of President Bill Clintons 1995 apology for Government attacking unsuspecting citizens with Microwave Weapons, Violation of the Geneva Convention for being assaulted, hurt, maimed, and tortured with what they call Non Lethal that’s right until the dial is turned to up to Max which makes it an Extremely Lethal Invisible to the Naked Eyes Through the Walls Microwaves of X-RAY and Radar Radiation (DEWs) Directed Energy Weapons pointed at the head and eyes while the victim tries to sleep all the while being emotionally, mentally, psychologically, spiritually, physically, and financially hurt, maimed, and tortured which will the only ending is from one or more out of four ways. The Targeted Individuals Non Consensual Human Experimentation only ends before the next Campaign is starts up right away from:
1) Homelessness or lose your home for good.
2) Hospitalization sometimes permanently for good.
3) Jail or a Lengthy Prison Stay sometimes for good.
4) Voluntary, Accidental, Death by Poisoning, or FORCED Suicide.
They get paid the most from Citizens Tax Payers Funds if death is by number 4. Then they throw a big party and get paid that night when the boss shows up for everyone that participated during the campaign.
