MK Ultra Brainwashing Protest Overview:
- Who: Families of victims who were allegedly brainwashed during secret โMK Ultraโ human experimentation held a protest.
- Why: They want to draw attention to their fight against Americaโs CIA and Canadian entities that funded and/or participated in the project.
- Where: The MK Ultra protest was held in Montreal.
Americaโs Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) reportedly funded and sanctioned secret โMK Ultraโ brainwashing experiments in Montreal, and the families of the brainwashing victims held a protest on Apr. 27 to draw attention to their fight.
The brainwashing victimsโ family members are pursuing an MK Ultra class action lawsuit against the CIA, but a lawyer with the U.S. Attorney Generalโs office is currently asking a Montreal court to dismiss the case, CTV News reports.
Lana Mills Sowchuk is one of the family members seeking accountability for participants in the MK Ultra brainwashing experiments, according to CTV News. In addition to the CIA, Mills Sowchuk wants to hold Canadaโs Allan Memorial Institute, the McGill University Health Centre and the Canadian government accountable for participating in and/or funding the human experimentation project. She is part of a group that is seeking to sue these Canadian entities.
MK Ultra Allegedly Used Brainwashing, Torture Techniques Without Consent
Mills Sowchukโs father was reportedly admitted to the Allan Memorial Hospital in 1952, purportedly to cure his asthma, CTV reports. He was treated by psychologist Dr. Donald Ewen Cameron, who was working on the secret MK Ultra experiment.
The MK Ultra participants allegedly sought to use brainwashing and torture techniques to learn how to obtain information from spies. Dr. Cameron is said to have treated hundreds of patients as part of the MK Ultra human experimentation program.
โHe was tortured with 54 shock treatments, followed by 54 seizures,โ Mills Sowchuk said to CTV News of her fatherโs treatment. โHe was put in an insulin coma for 36 days with a recording saying โyour mother hates you.โโ
โThey wiped his brain,โ Mills Sowchuk said. โThis is not right. It should not have happened.โ
The families of MK Ultra brainwashing victims say human experimentation was performed without the subjectsโ consent, and that anyone who knew that this was happening should have done something to stop it, according to CTV News.
The Apr. 27 protest was meant to draw attention to the legal fight against the CIA.
โThey funded part of the money for these treatments for their own good, to support the military and for political reasons, and theyโre trying to get out of it,โ Mills Sowchuk told CTV.
Lawyer Jeff Orenstein is representing the group and told CTV News that the CIA may be protected by immunity that prevents it from being subject to civil actions in another country. Even if the CIA is dismissed from the MK Ultra class action lawsuit, it is possible that the Canadian entities may be included.

They should definitely be held accountable, as should the Canadian government too.
Is there any options I don’t want get in trouble disclosing being a MK Ultra and police brutally victim on disability for it don’t want trouble sir please is there any way by chance I can get this out of my body
Yes, they should most definitely be held responsible. The immunity they are hiding behind should be lifted because the CIA actively participated in Canadian civilians therefore that immunity should be dismissed as irrelevant and just must be bought to those victims. If justice begins failing some of the public it will inevitably fails us all and we will become a lawless chaotic ruleless world. Those in positions of professionalism must uphold their care of duty, responsibility and service to the people. Taking advantage of citizens is a serious breach of humanitarian laws including international and common law.
