Health Canada announces approval of AstraZeneca vaccine

The AstraZeneca vaccine has been authorized for distribution and use by medical professionals, adding to Canada’s arsenal against the spread of COVID-19, according to an announcement issued by Health Canada today.

Health Canada notes that AstraZeneca Canada Inc. will begin distributing the coronavirus vaccine to administration sites identified by provincial and territorial governments. The federal government has ordered 24 million doses, 500,000 of which are expected to be delivered to Canada from India this week; however, most will be shipped through the United States starting in April, according to Global News Canada.

The AstraZeneca vaccine is for use in individuals aged 18 and over, but it has been reported that this vaccine is not recommended for those over the age of 65 by Canada’s National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) due to the lack of testing on this age group. Otherwise, in individuals aged 18 to 64, NACI reports a 62 per cent efficacy rate.

The AstraZeneca vaccine needs to be administered in two doses between four and 12 weeks apart, reports Global News. Despite not being as effective as other options, this vaccine may be able to be stored in refrigerated units, rather than sub-zero freezers, potentially making distribution easier, according to experts who talked to Global News.

Indeed, AstraZeneca joins Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccination options for Canadians, but this one works differently. While Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna use messenger RNA technology, AstraZeneca is a viral vaccine, according to reports. Viral vaccines use a modified cold virus that cannot replicate itself. The AstraZeneca option adds a COVID-19 protein spike to train the body to develop defenses to the real coronavirus.

Another vaccine option may be entering the ring. Johnson & Johnson has recently received emergency use approval from United State’s regulators for its one-dose COVID-19 vaccine. Experts told CBC News that Health Canada is considering approval of the Johnson & Johnson option as well.

As of March 1, nearly 2 million individuals have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccination, according to Esri Canada. Total presumed and confirmed COVID cases are at more than 868,000 and the country has suffered over 22,000 deaths from the virus.

I’d rather walk down Hastings barefoot with a blindfold on.

    The WORST that could happen?
Getting stuck with an AIDS infected needle.
THE JAB THO? Heart attack, brain damage, mad cow, bells palsy myocarditis, paralysis, seizures, blood clots, infertility/birth defects, low sperm count, amputated limbs, sepsis, gain-of-functioned shingles, V-AIDS, tuberculosis, DEATH, herpes,
Bluetoothed zombie mind control, an mRNA delivery system that actually changes your species and makes Spike Proteins that cause cellular toxicity, and let’s not forget the GRAPHENE NANOTECHNOLOGY THAT SELF ASSEMBLES ONCE INSERTED IN YOUR BODY, as well as the CREEPY, IMMORTAL and LIVING WORMS called HYDRA VULGARIS.🤢
Needless to say id rather take my chances ACTUALLY SLEEPING NAKED on Hastings, over having that wad of sewer slop “vaccine” injected directly into my body. 🤮

I am 58 and high risk due diabetes. Both the government and physicians are pushing the AstraZeneca, which doesn’t have FDA approval. If the US is hesitant to approve, the question is why? My family history has blood disorders and due to hearing that is can possibly cause blood clots, I have refused it. This is the only option available to me, which I do not trust. I have not been provided another option.
